ICDD to Host National Issues Forum on Future of Higher Education

Universities are widely recognized as being centers of learning and research. However, with education costs rising and the measure of preparedness guaranteed by a college degree being called into question, the role of higher education itself is an increasing hot topic.

On March 4th at 6:30 p.m., ICDD will be holding a National Issues Forum discussion concerning the role of higher education. This forum will be an opportunity for students, faculty, and concerned community members to deliberate perspectives about the mission of higher education.

The forum will be held in Banquet Room B at the Kansas State University Alumni Center, located west of the K-State Union and south of Old Stadium, at 1720 Alumni Center, Manhattan, KS. Parking is available in the K-State Parking Garage, located across the street.

This event is open to the general public and all are invited to attend. To learn more about the forum topic, please view the official issue guide here or the National Issues Forum video here.

Questions can be directed to Myles Alexander at mylesks@k-state.edu or by phone at (785) 532-6868.
